February Newsletter

Dear Pre~K Families,
January has flown by and we have had a great start to 2009!
This month our theme is “Full of Feelings!” We will be exploring all the different kinds of emotions and feelings people feel on a daily basis. This coincides with the guideline for preschool learning experience: communicating personal experiences or interests, create representations (drawings of their feelings ect.)
We have a couple of Birthdays we will be celebrating this month. Happy 5th Birthday to Skyler as well as William! Yeah!
*Important Dates-
~ We will be going to the Ice Arena on Thursday, Feb.19th from 12:30-2:00 for “preschool skating” Please be sure to return permission slips!!
~ Firefly Book Orders are due Monday, February 9th.
~ Heritage trip on Friday, February 13th. (Wear your pink and red!)
~ “Sharing snack” on Wednesday, February 18th. Join your child for a healthy homemade waffle at drop off. (Starting at 9:00am)
*Just a few reminders-
~ Please update and stock children’s extra clothing-bins located in the pre-k bathroom.
~ Please be sure your child has hats and gloves EVERYDAY. Also, snow boots and snow pants on snow days!
~ Sign IN and OUT everyday
~ Check mailboxes on a daily basis
